Ashlesha Bali Pooja Procedure

  • Start by invoking Lord Ganesha, who clears all obstacles. Light a lamp and offer your prayers to call upon him.
  • Next, perform the aarti and Sankalpa to announce the details of the Pooja.
  • The Pandit will conduct the Japa and Homa, making offerings during the Homa to purify the body and mind and ask for blessings from the Gods.
  • Offer food and gifts to Lord Ganesha, like sweets, milk, and fruits, as a sign of respect and gratitude.
  • After the initial steps, perform the main Puja to Lord Ganesha. Recite the mantras, ring the bell, and offer flowers.
  • In Mantra Pushpanjali, offer flowers to God as a sign of devotion. Also, offer Prasad (food offerings) to seek blessings and good fortune.
  • The Pooja ends with a final Aarti, where a lamp is lit, and gratitude is shown to the Gods. Devotees seek blessings and commit to following the path of righteousness.
